The main purpose of a PPG is to engage patients and their experience with the surgery to improve our services for everyone. This is done through regular meetings with the PPG, a GP partner and the practice manager. Those unable to attend meetings are still able to contribute by email as virtual members.
The PPG does not have a remit to act upon specific complaints or aspects of any patient to practice relationship, as its members are volunteers who provide a patient led support group to assist in the development of the future direction and growth of Overton Park Surgery.
We always welcome new members to the PPG as we are committed to ensuring the membership is representative of the Practice population.
To find out more about the PPG, read our PPG information leaflet (PDF).
