Diplomas in Minor Illness + Injuries, and nurse prescribing.
Specialises in diabetes and cerebrovascular disease.
Clinical interests include travel health and wound care.

Nurses

Nurse Lisa May, female

RGN 

Lisa worked in specialist surgery in Surrey for 10 years, then worked in palliative care in oncology. She is a practice nurse specialising in chronic disease, and is a nurse prescriber. She has the Warwick Course in diabetes and a Diploma in COPD. Lisa has wide experience in travel and wound care. She also works as a community nurse and for a Hospice at Home charity (Kate’s Home).

Nurse Debbie Hatcher, female

RN, Advanced Diploma in Women’s Health, Diploma in Asthma, COPD

Joined the surgery in October 2012 with 10 years experience in practice nursing in London, Debbie is a nurse prescriber.
Interests include women’s health and respiratory care.

Nurse Jo Herbert, female

RN

Jo joined the practice in August 2016. Jo has previous experience working in urology, vascular and gynaecology.

Nurse Sarah Cresswell, female

Sarah joined the practice in 2015 as a Healthcare Assistant. Sarah went to UWE in 2017 to study for her nursing degree before returning to Overton Park surgery as a Practice Nurse.

Sally Hatcher, female

NVQ level 3 in care

Sally joined the surgery in 1991 as a receptionist and started work as an HCA in January 2004.

Clare Hart, female

NVQ level 3 in care

Clare was a phlebotomist at Cheltenham General Hospital for eight years before joining Overton Park in August 2008. She has experience in a number of nursing procedures including blood pressures, smoking advice, blood tests and new patient checks. Clare also carries out home visits for blood tests etc as required.
