Community Nurses

The district nurses provide nursing care for patients at home, who are unable to attend the surgery.

In Hours

You can contact the district nurse on 01242 532304, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 16:30.

Outside these hours and Bank Holidays – you can call 0300 421 0555.

Health Visitors

The health visitors can give advice on health care, particularly for pre-school children, the elderly and disabled.

They are available at our baby clinics every Monday between 14:00-15:30.

The health visitors can be contacted for advice by telephoning 01242 513368 Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00.

Darren Pugh (m) – Clinical Pharmacist

Our clinical pharmacist, Darren Pugh, qualified from the University of Bath in 2014 with a Masters Degree in Pharmacy. In 2020 he attained a postgraduate certificate in Clinical Pharmacy Practice and joined the surgery in the same year. As a pharmacist Darren carries out medication reviews, provides clinical advice and helps with the management of long-term conditions.
