Cases of invasive meningococcal disease have been confirmed in Kent. It’s important to know the signs of symptoms of meningitis and septicaemia.
Currently we can only offer Meningitis B vaccinations to our patients under the age of 2 years old. Patients over 2 years of age that have not previously been vaccinated can obtain the vaccine privately, such as from a pharmacy, and will need 2 doses.
