MMR Catch up Campaign - There is a national campaign to contact people who have had neither or only one of their MMR vaccinations. Children receive both injections as part of their immunisation program, but not all adults have. For more information about the MMR vaccination, please see the NHS MMR Page and the MMR Vaccination Information Leaflet.

It is not urgent that you receive this vaccination, and you may need to wait to receive it as our nurses still need to perform their regular duties, such as wound dressings.  We thank you for your patience.  The Catch up Campaign is not an emergency campaign, but one intended to last until March 2020.

From 1st January 2020, we will not longer be using a Fax machine.  This will more effect prescription orders made on behalf of patients by their pharmacy.  We encourage patients to order electronically either through the website with SystmOnline, using the NHS app, or calling the Prescription Ordering Line.  For more information, please see our Prescriptions page.

Overton Park Surgery is collaborating with NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) which is providing NHS numbers for those patients that may be suitable for electronic repeat dispensing prescriptions. The information is obtained from NHS prescriptions submitted to the NHSBSA. A member of our clinical team will contact these patients soon to explain the benefits of this service.
