Guidance from NHS England has been published recently entitled “Items which should not be routinely prescribed in primary care; Guidance for Clinical Commissioning Groups” which makes recommendations about some preparations that your doctor should no longer provide on NHS prescription. Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group has adopted this National Guidance.
